ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
International Theatre
July 2005-August 2012
I was the Artistic Director for an English language theatre in Vienna, Austria for seven years. Our mission statement was:
The International Theatre is committed to providing quality English language theatre by performing a mixture of classic texts and contemporary texts that celebrate the talent of artists that write in the English language. The International Theatre will hire directors, actors, designers and technicians that are dedicated to preserving the theatrical tradition of serving the author's artistic vision. The International Theatre is dedicated to providing “on the job” education and training for young artists wishing to begin their career in theatre.

1984
This is a powerful interpretation of a classic that engages the imagination without special effects or high-production values. No bells, no whistles: just pure drama.- The Vienna Review
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
In minutes, director Jack Babb captured the audience; with the dual onslaughts of bloodcurdling bellows and bright lights, intensity assaults both ears and eyes, claiming attention.- The Vienna Review
The Glass Menagerie
What is perhaps most remarkable about this performance are the risks taken, the commitment to fresh portrayals of legendary characters, a new marriage of venerable and modern in this dollhouse performing space. In the midst of the generous applause, one thing is clear: Good things can definitely come in small packages.- The Vienna Review
